Hey, the problem described in the topic subject is appearing in my computer for a while now or rather since update to version 4.0.
I tried to install Ubuntu (10.04 LTS and 10.10) and Debian 05.07. Installation seems to run properly, first reboot - everything is fine. But the first regular shutdown now fails most the time and the machine halts. (Usually I'm doin' some updates after first boot - but this shouldn't be the reason for this?) Is this a common failure or am I the only one experiencing this? To come to an end now: Does anyone know a solution? Is there anything special I need to do to shutdown a debian-based system running in VirtualBox correctly?
