Hi Brian,

AFAIK the meaning of the CPU usage percentage can vary with different `top` 
implementations,
e.g. on Solaris 100% means "all cpus/cores used".
Look better into /proc/cpuinfo.

In the following screenshot you can see that VirtualBox 3.2.8 r64453 on Ubuntu 
Jaunty is only using 250% CPU on a dual quad-core machine, whereas in the 
Ubuntu Natty VM 754% is being used. I allocated all 8 cores to the VM so I 
really don't understand what's going on here.
