Hi Berny,
As noted in my OP, the host is Ubunty Jaunty and the guest is Ubuntu Natty.
In Jaunty the version of top (procps actually) is 3.2.7, whereas in Natty it
is 3.2.8. Thus, this couldn't be the issue.
