yes, I can imagine that it's about dividing the whole program into
2 pieces. If the sources aren't a total mess (what I'm expecting
from an open-source tool of that class), then the functionality is 
already encapsulated in proper pieces. So I thought it could be done
somehow: therefore "[wishlist]" ... ;-)
