Howdy,

I don't run Windows XP anymore but I don't recall ever having an
issuing printing to remote machines or to my local, Host printer.

As a test, I just printed my from Win7 Guest to the USB printer on my
Linux Host and it worked. I am presenting the printer via Samba.

Is the remote printer on a Window's machine or a Window's machine?
I'm having a wee bit of trouble grok'ing what you wrote above. :)

Exactly what is the issue you're getting? I'm not a windows person so
I may not be able to help ... one thought though: have you disabled
the firewall on Windows XP?

Cheers,
