Hello,

I use VirtualBox for my lug server (http://culte.org).

when configuring, I sometime loose the network on the guest. In this
situation, I have to connect with a graphical interface to be able to
log into the guest.

right now I use standard VNC (tight VNC), with some problems I will
list below.

I'm looking for solutions for these problems, also wondering if using
the native virtualbox vnc could solve them (but do not find any info
on this native vnc on the virtualbox web site)

* the "normal" way of launching the virtual machine is through
VBoxManage. On this situation, is there a way to connect to the
graphical interface with VNC, without rebooting the guest and using
VirtualBox?

* VNC seems to have problems with UTF8, when connected to the guest, I
have a strange keyboard, nearly QWERTY (I'm french with azerty
keyboard), but m is ; and I couldn't find any way to type ":", very
odd for vi!!

thanks
jdd
(upto date vnc and virtualbox, both host and guest openSUSE 12.1)
