Howdy, It smells like potentially swapping but without metrics, it's just a guess. I'm unclear on the memory configuration of the VM's which are running when the problem happens. To rule out resource issues on the Host O/S, I'd run `sar -d 3 10000' and `sar -u 3 10000', start up your VM(s) and when the problem starts, see what happens. You'll want a baseline so run the above `sar' commands with the known-good VM and observe the metrics reported. Next, run the commands with the mis-behaving process. See if anything shows. :) Cheers, -- Pablo Sanchez - Blueoak Database Engineering, Inc Ph: 819.459.1926 Blog: http://pablo.blog.blueoakdb.com Fax: 760.860.5225 (US) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ VBox-users-community mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vbox-users-community
