Just so I'm sure I understand what you're saying, you're saying that
you have a third machine on the same LAN with the address
192.168.1.14, correct?

Again to clarify, you're saying that for every ICMP packet sent from
your guest to 192.168.1.14 you get 2 ICMP packets back. Is that
correct? I assume you don't see the same behavior when pinging
192.168.1.14 from other machines on your LAM?
