I have had kernel panics on a Mac (OS Version: Darwin Kernel Version 
10.8.0) similar to those you describe while running VirtualBox in the 
past, but have not seen one on the current VirtualBox version 
4.1.10-r76795. VirtualBox was running when the panics occurred, but then 
it is virtually always running, and I could not tie the panics to any 
specific actions.
