Hi Chris,

I'm a bit rusty on the above as I infrequently do it but generally,
here's what I do:

o Place the old `~/.VirtualBox' tree somewhere `else' (e.g. ~/prev_vbox)

o Look in ~/prev_vbox for the .vdi file(s) for all your VM's and place
them in the new tree (~/.VirtualBox).  Depending on when you created
the VM's, you may have different naming standards in the old tree.
For the new tree, you can `mkdir "~/.VirtualBox/my new VM name"' and
place the .vdi file in the new subdirectory.

o Create a new VM with the same attributes as before and ...

o When prompted for the .vdi, use the old .vdi previously populated.

I realize the above notes are a bit sparse so if it's unclear, let me
know and I'll post more details on the `fuzzy' step.  :)
