I know roughly what is preventing it (I would know exactly if I took a 
look at the code in question), but it is a matter of time versus the 
number of people who have reported that this is an issue for them - that 
is, only a couple of people so far.  Obvi9ously since we also have 
issues which customers consider important I would rather spend my time 
there.  That said, if you feel like playing with the code this may well 
be fixable with a reasonably effort, given that you are one of those few.

VirtualBox 4.2 uses Qt 4.7.3.  I will have a look at that report you 
linked to.
