Running v.4.16 with an Openindiana (guest) on win64 (host)

I've hit a problem a few times that seems to occur when doing mousey/
clicky things quickly. Haven't isolated exactly what but always seems
to occur when I sort of get on a mission,, you know, moving fast
getting something setup or the like.

(Note: I'm always logged in from the VB window (not sshed in from host)
and in X. With openindian that means in gnome desktop.) when this
occurs.

What happens is suddenly I lose all mouse and keyboard contact with
guest OS. Well, I guess not exactly all, since it will still capture
/release the mouse if I click on an open screen in the OS, but
mouse/keyboard are then useless.

When I finally give up waiting for responsiveness to come back, I
usually try the external vbox controls and try to kill the OS using
the 'Machine' menu. At that point the vbox window itself becomes
unresponsive and I end up having to kill vbox processes (from windows
process manager) a few times to shut it down.

It still seems to require a full OS reboot of host to get back to
normal operation again.

Does any of this sound familiar, as in, perhaps some known problem
mixing vbox/windows/solaris..?
