I would configure a second virtual NIC in the VM, so you have: - one virtual NIC bridged to the host ethernet NIC (LAN) and - one virtual NIC bridged to the WiFi NIC (WLAN). Then proceed to choose the active one with the Network Manager in the guest. Most Linux desktop distributions offer Network Manager nowadays.
