Very good thought... I found out thru other oddities I hit installing
that I was blundering around between 32/64 bit in more ways to.
Install media 64bit - Installing 32 bit.

It all came out when I tried to compile a kernel

Gentoo does support 32bit as does vbox so now installing 32 bit
without these problems.

This looks very promising... I did glance thru the security section
On my search but didn't catch it.

I have a bunch of compiling running right now so cannot check but will
when done.
