Hi:

Been trying to get 3d support working with ubuntu 14.04. Installed the
newest guest additions and I don't have any console errors when running
/usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p. I also can run glxgears with no
console errors (but also not very good performance). My problem is
running chromium derived apps, specifically Chrome and Visual Studio
Code (using electron which uses chromium).

When I launch google-chrome-stable I get a boatload of the following:
[3329:3329:0401/163832:ERROR:texture_manager.cc(2278)]
[.CommandBufferContext.Compositor-0xcd83c33ddc0]GL ERROR
:GL_INVALID_ENUM : glTexImage2D: <- error from previous GL command
...
[3219:3219:0401/163748:ERROR:gles2_cmd_decoder.cc(2109)]
[.CommandBufferContext.CompositorWorker-0x332c3546d2c0]GL ERROR
:GL_INVALID_VALUE : ScopedTextureBinder::dtor: <- error from previous GL
command
...

Chrome itself never renders .. it's just a mess of black and drawing
errors.

VS Code WILL launch but it's slow to do things, so much so it's
unusable.

Is there anything I can do to give more detail?

Thanks.
Jim
