I posted the message below on gmane.os.openindiana.general on July 9,
as of yet I have received no answers.
The openindian operating system recently included qt5. I'd like to
know if that means it should now be possible to install recent
versions of Vbox on it.
I'm not that adept at making any but known workable installs on that
OS but would really like to hear from anyone hear who can speak on
this subject.
Especially someone how can speak from experience but anyone with a
solid opinion would be good too

I've heard that recent versions of Vbox (above 5.0.X) are based on qt5
Should we be able to install recent versions of Vbox from the VBox web
pages, provided we have qt5 installed?
