I thought I made it clear sorry:

As stated, I want to find out if VB is capable of producing an *.iso
file (that is bootable ) from  a VB *.vdi virtual disk.

The command I posted appears to do exactly that but I saw on google
that the *.iso referred to above is not an actual ISO as we normally
use the name .. i.e. a bootable file capable of installing a vm or an
OS on hardware.
