Frank, all, Even though there are testbuilds for 5.2 (139677), according to https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/19644 5.2 is unsupported. Does this mean there will be no 5.2.46 that will build with the Linux 5.8 kernel? If so, does this also mean that the 5.2 testbuilds will not be fixed to work with the 5.8 kernel?
I ask because I have maintained the 5.2 branch for Archlinux AUR for the past few years. I did so because the 6.X branch would not work with headless guests across the network. Does this mean there will be no more 5.2 builds (official or testbuilds) capable of supporting the Linux 5.8 kernel? -- David C.
