Being a very long time Windows User, I know most of it’s foibles, as well as
it’s strengths. It does a good job of hiding hardware issues, until they cause
a major problem. My experience with Linux is mostly though Virtual Machines.
I used to use a product called Parallels for Virtual Machines on Windows. I
got into VirtualBox after I started using Macs. VirtualBox, being a free
alternative to the
other solutions started me using it on every computer I owned. Ss long as it
was running Windows 8.1, or 10, VirtualBox worked pretty much perfectly, even
on my HP Pavilion Mini Desktop - 300-030. Only in the past few weeks of
running Linux on it has VirtualBox presented me with problems.
