Hi, Currently VB does not support "my" kernel on "my" Fedora Core 35 (Rawhide) system (5.14.0-0.rc0.20210709gitf55966571d5e.14.fc35.x86_64). Trying to start VB (released versions?) gives an error message and fails to even try to start. This is good because other versions of VB (development versions?) do not check ahead of time to see if the host kernel is supported and seem to go into a loop in the VB startup (kernel modules?)... which results in a non-killable process (looping in one of the kernel modules?
Is there a way to find out whether a host kernel is supported or not? I wrote a bug on this same topic which I understand now is not a desirable thing to do. That bug report is #20458. Best regards and THANKS for the cool code AND help, George... _______________________________________________ VBox-users-community mailing list VBox-users-community@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vbox-users-community _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe: mailto:vbox-users-community-requ...@lists.sourceforge.net?subject=unsubscribe
