Using the linux download of most recent vBox. Host os Ubuntu linux 21.10 I had occasion to move a herd of newly created vdi disks. 9 empty discs.
The install process of openindiana `minimal' *.iso would not let me select the disk to put the OS on. So finally after several attempts restarts etc. I just moved 9 vdi discs out of the vms' directory. Leaving only one disc. Finally got the os where I wanted it. Now I want to `add' what was to be z2 pool with zfs fs. I tried to use the `search' aspect of the VBox UI but it refuses to find them even though they are in that same vms' directory. Searched by name and my UUID. Not happening. I hate to recreate that many discs...
