I installed VirtualBox 6.1.36-dfsg-1 on a Devuan operating systemn (Debian without System D).
My goal is to run FreeBSD and so downloaed a FreeBSE ISO. The FreeBSD web site was not enitrely clear to me, bvt they offered non-ISO files suited to Debian, perhaps installers, and also ISO files. I assume it is the dvd ISO I need. I set up a virtual machine with VirtualBox and pointed to the ISO. So FreeBSD appers in VirtualBox menu as powered off. I Click the Start icon and it takes me to a boot menu. I assume I should boot multiuser. The boot take sme to a the login. Since I didn't install the FreeBSD operating system, no user account and password were defined. I couild not find an answre in the FreeBSD manuel. I tried logging in freebsd as account and password. But that did not work. Can anywone runnng FreeBSD on VirtualBox help me out here?
