I recently upgraded VirtualBox to version 7.0.10 and it is run on a Windows 10 host to provide Devuan Linux guest machines.

I also upgraded the Devuan version from chimaera to daedalus which upgrades the Linux kernel from 5.10 to 6.1 -- the upgrade proceeded without any problems with Virtual Box Guest Additions installed from the virtual optical drive. Attempting to start X11 graphics causes the system to hang, and the error is presumably

       VbglR3Init failed with rc=VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

from the vboxadd-install.log; when the virtual machine is started using Linux kernel 5.10 (for which the modules were recompiled) there is no problem.

The question is how to fine the missing file; what is it?
