It tried also to clone a differencing image via VBoxManage. Here the linux
box says:
[!] Text = {Hard disk
image
'/home/windoof/virtualbox/winxp/Snapshots/{183f539d-9be0-4db2-ba8f-8a9ba05a00cf}.vdi'
is a differencing image and cannot be opened directly}
