After being pleased with the performance of Windows XP under VirtualBox, I decided it was time to activate my guest Windows XP installation and be free of dual booting. However, I found out that I can not activate my Windows XP installation because it is an OEM version that uses a BIOS locked key. Of course, the virtual BIOS, as well as other virtual hardware, are not like the physical hardware so I seem to be hitting a wall. Has anyone else run into this scenario?
