My take on this is different, possibly because I tend to do more helping than questioning. With email I see everybody's questions, as oppose to me remembering to go check some website to see what issues are new. On the other hand, a group or forum tends to enable people to ask a question and avoid seeing everybody elses questions/problems unless they so desire to surf around the group/forum. So the question that arises out of this is: Does [email protected] exist to help one person get the answer to their question, or does it exist to enable many to stay abreast of all issues and to offer assistance when they can (while also learning along the way)? -Jim P.
