Hi Alexey,

I updated the bug too with some of my discovery.  If we don't track it, then
it can't be fixed eh?  :)  Thank you for your help so far; it's always good
to get another set of eyes.

One thought I might try is run strace on VirtualBox to see which files it's
trying to access and tweak it that way but I need to finish some work; yeah,
what's that?   <g>
