Arrgh...
I am running Opensuse 10.2 with vbox 1.4 and trying to set up virtual host
networking.
I have the bridge set up and working with a private ip address of
10.16.1.10and I created vbox0 but can't get an ip address in my
guests. I followed
the documentation section for opensuse (checked many times).
eth1 is active, eth0 is not used.
Here is ifconfig output.

-----------brctl show --------------
# brctl show
bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces
br1 8000.00e0815f6dd7 no eth1 vbox0
I ran
sudo VBoxAddIF vbox0 myuser br1
and added vbox0 under "interface name"
Ultimately, I want a host with a private IP and each of my VMs to have there
own unique private IP addresses
Thanks, John
