Yes. 

vboxmanage registerimage disk file.vdi

should do it. This assumes you don't already have vdi files with the
same uuids registered with vbox. If you do, then you'll need to use
clonevdi instead. You will then also want to add the hds to the vms
they belong with as well of course. Hth.
