Hello Jim,

No, it will only prevent that particular filter from picking up your
mouse/keyboard.  It won't prevent other filters picking them up.

Someone else solved this problem by adding a udev rule to create a
filter when a new device was added.  Not an ideal solution admitedly,
but it did work.
