There's a wee bit more but that's the brunt of the work ...

1) Copy the .VDI(s)
2) Add the new .VDI's to the environment via the GUI
3) Designate a VM to use the .VDI(s) - either by creating a new VM or
   swapping its drive.

All in all, it's very simple.
