Hi, I have installed VirtualBox_1.5.6-1_Win_amd64.msi onto my host Dell desktop with Intel 64bit CPU and running Windows XP 64. Everything goes well up to this point. I then proceed to create a VM. I insert a WinXP 64 CD into my CD-ROM drive and start the new VM. It then attempt to install the guest operating system from the mounted CD-ROM drive. Now the problem struck. Almost immediately, the following error message is shown on this new VM screen.
Attempting to load an x64 operating system, however this CPU is not compatible with x64 mode. Please install a 32-bit X86 operating system. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit. How do I resolve the above issue? Thank you for your kind attention. -- YeuWen
