Oh that's different than an RFE (request for enhancement) ... I remember you writing about the issue above. If you had a spare machine and time, you could try help the VBox team out by starting with a vanilla install of Ubuntu/Gutsy and seeing if the problem manifests itself there. I run openSUSE 10.3 and don't have any issues. I'm even using a 2.6.24.3 kernel on my laptop with no issues.
