I've tried with ethtool and it says i can't. Any other idea's? To which speed do you refer? Do you mean that your guest (which guest?) reports a 10MBit/s NIC? This reported speed is irrelevant but only cosmetic. VirtualBox emulates an AMD PCNet network card which is detected by the guest. Such cards don't allow a speed more than 100MBit/s on real hardware but I can assure you that there is no such limitation of the emulated NIC. Using a host interface I'm able to transfer at a speed much more than 100MBit/s. Kind regards, Frank -- Dr.-Ing. Frank Mehnert Sun Microsystems http://www.sun.com/
