Let me be a bit more specific.

I can install Vbox 1.5.6 on Vista and also create my virtual disk... everything
runs smoothly. Howerver, when I "start" my first session and put my
installation DVD in, vbox detects and starts booting under mandriva but
crashes... i.e. I first get a black screen with only my mouse pointer, and a
few a minute or so, a blue screen saying that vista crashed for a given
reason... I don't even have time to read to whole 'cause it's already rebooted.
When vista is loaded, it says that it crashed and that the reason is my ATI
graphics Driver... I've looked up for up-to-date drivers, but it seems like
they're the latest.

I've also tried version 1.5.4, but I get the same error.

I'm running Windows Vista (with SP1) on a LG-E300, Intel Core2 Duo T5450 1.66
GHz, 2 GB RAM and a 250 GB SATA hard drive.

Has anyone ever run into the same kind of problem?

Any solutions?

Thanks

Subject: [vbox-users] vista crashes when intalling guest Mandriva One 2008
spring

Hi,

windows vista crashes when I try installing my guest Mandriva One 2008 spring.
When rebooting, vista reports that a problem occured with my ATI Graphics
Driver. I just bought my computer, and it looks like all my drivers are
up-to-date. Is Mandriva Spring not supported by Vbox?!? Any idea?

Thanks
