Sorry, I had misunderstood your problem!!
Since Windows is complaining about the ATI driver, have
tried to get latest driver update for Windows?
Check with http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html ?
They might have a more recent driver than what you have.

You must first install the guest add-on's on the guest.
Without them, Windows will not have the correct
driver for graphics, for physical disk drives, for ethernet...etc.

windows vista crashes when I try installing my guest
Mandriva One 2008 spring. When rebooting, vista reports
that a problem occured with my ATI Graphics Driver. I just
bought my computer, and it looks like all my drivers are
up-to-date. Is Mandriva Spring not supported by Vbox?!?
Any idea?
