Hi Rob, I installed and use OpenSolaris 2008.05 on my MacBook Pro (10.5.2) without any trouble. The guest shows around 14% and the host around 30% CPU utilization. Do you use Tiger or Leopard? How many RAM do you assign to the Solaris guest? Is the virtual hard disk led heavily blinking? Does the high load apply to the host or guest?
