Micheal, I cannot help asking this question: is there anyway to enable raw mode in Windows host? Would it not be faster if it were to be made possible.

When it is running in so-called raw mode, as opposed to when it is using hardware virtualisation, VirtualBox executes guest user mode natively and kernel mode semi-natively (that is, it makes use of a few tricks to do so).
