I agree this would be a cool feature. I'm pretty certain you can do
it with Xen. Just looking at the documentation it does not appear you
can really give a VM a raw disk from a SAN and present it to multiple
"hosts." Maybe the developers could chime in?

As far as I remember you can share a single vdi between two or more
vm's
as long as the vdi is immutable.

Yah, I really need it as a true shared disk: two writers.
Doing some research, this seems to be a feature other folks have
requested.
What I'm wanting to do is setup an Oracle RAC and use the shared disk
between the two nodes.
