What do you mean connect? It's just the case of following the instructions 
in the new virtual machine wizard, including creating any new hard disk 
image(s) and mounting your Windows installation CD(s), either via connecting 
it to your host or as an Iso image which VirtualBox will mount automatically 
as if it was a CD.
