Hi,

A quick google search indicates that as of 2.0, 64-bit O/S's are
handled by VirtualBox.

It's not a client-server application.  You could setup standard X to
have the GUI display on the client machine.  Or you can VNC to the
server if the network is an issue.

I think you're asking, is it easy to set up a share between the VM and
the host O/S.  Answer:  definitely.

I believe you can do it via CLI (although I never have) but I use the
GUI.  It's quick.
