Hi all,

I have been a happy VirtualBox user for some time now.

Now I have a problem that I don't understand. I'm trying to move a vm to a
different computer, so I'm trying to change the host OS.

I Itried to simply copy the machine folder and the VDI file and register the
vm but this produces an error: "cannot have hard disks attached" so I'm not
able to register the vm on my new host OS.

What is the correct procedure for moving a vm to a different machine. It
doesn't seem to be part of the manual which deals with cloning vm on the
same host OS.

Can it be done?

Thanks and Regards,

Onno
