I described the procedure for doing this a while back: http://vbox.innotek.de/pipermail/vbox-users/2008-September/003938.html Note that this might not work if you're switching host operating systems, (I.E. going from a host running gnu/linux to a host running windows), but I might be wrong here, it might work. I'm just saying this based on some comments I've seen on this list in the past. Hth.
