On the off chance that you're confused, the tab is in
the guest main window, not the vbox main window.
And (XP host; OpenSol guest), I discover to my slight
surprise that Devices->Install... has no effect (not
even a warning) unless the CD is unmounted and virtual
drive empty when I click.
Alternatives:
o Mount the Additions image and double-click
on its icon.
o Install with line commands (it's in the book).
