The 3.0.12 virtualbox on Windows 7 professional is picky about which adapters you can simulate and still have NAT networking.
the pcnet III adapter works, but none of the gigabit adapters I tried to simulate worked. my laptop has a gigabit wired adapter and a wireless, I was hoping to simulate a gigabit adapter inside the guest for those times when I am on a gigabit net. Thus far no joy. Am I missing something?
