I'm writing to make this problem worse.  Today I tried with a Freebsd
7.2 guest.  FreeBSD 7.2 guest could not get an IP address while
simulating pcnet III adapter, I switched to pcnet II and FreeBSD got
an ip address.  It still doesnt have internet access as it can not
resolve names properly but I'm still researching as to how/why that
would be so.

Maybe if I download the PC-BSD iso and look at that, at least I'll
have a fully functioning FreeBSD core environment to poke around in
and see if I can see whats happening.
