Excuse my poor list manners, I missed something off of the end of my last post which was to say that I executed the command that would be run by the service on the second method and like when I do this for the first method it works just fine:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c "c:\Program Files\Sun\xVM Virtualbox\VBoxHeadless.exe" -startvm VMName >C:\Windows\VMName.log Obviously something to note is that in both cases where I have executed the same command that is to be executed by the LocalSystem service account, VirtualBox will have been looking in Documents and Settings\<MyUser>\.VirtualBox\ folder for the VirtualBox.xml config file but as per the tutorials I have copied it to the the Documents and Settings\Default User\.VirtualBox\ folder to make sure the same details are being used by the LocalSystem account. I am going to strip out both configurations and start over again, I will report back here as soon as I can. Thanks again for your time. -- Regards, James ;) Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach - "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day." - http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/m/marie_von_ebnereschenbac.html _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list vbox-users@virtualbox.org http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
