This isn't a very constructive conversation, but one only has to look at
what happened to Virtual Iron after the Oracle acquisition to know companies
do buy other companies and kill them.   

Now, I definitely would not expect Oracle to kill vbox.

Again, all I have been asking is what news people have heard around vbox
today, because Oracle announced this morning what their intentions are with
Sun's assets.
