I downgraded the port on 8.0-STABLE to 45 days ago version of
emulators/virtualbox and also get kernel panic. Before it worked ok.
Maybe some patch was recently merged into both 7.3 and 8.0 branches that
causes the issue?
But there is almost no response to my panic report. Looks like very few
people run virtualbox on FreeBSD.
