As usual a question with half the required information missing.
Hi Klaus,
Would it be more productive to put an entry in the FAQ on what you
consider critrical data to collect when submitting a question?
Sorry, but every now and then everyone needs to vent some steam. Don't
overinterpret this.
Putting entries in the FAQ isn't really appropriate either, given the
big variety of questions people have. It would just immensely help (and
be extremely polite) if the people asking a question would spend a
little time asking themselves whether the question can be answered
without reading someone's mind.
Starting sentences with `As usual a question with half the ...' is not
entirely friendly. Perhaps your intention isn't to be polite though.
Correct, occasionally I decide to be not polite, if I get the impression
that people get into a habit of asking such vague questions. And sorry
to state it, pac has done this more than once in the not so distant past.
Don't take it personally - I don't take it too serious either. Such
mails are meant more as a subtle warning that people are likely on the
way into "ignore" lists.
Statement made, case closed.
Cheers,
Klaus
